1 tsp oregano

¼ cup water
1 bunch cilantro

Step 1
In a dry skillet on medium high heat. Add the jalapeños & tomatillos. Cook stirring frequently for 5-7 minutes.

Add the onion, garlic & cook for 2 more minutes.

Add the oil, spices & chiles de arbol, cook for 3-5 minutes.

Step 4
Add in the water, bring to a simmer, then let cool down slightly before adding all contents to the blender. Then add in the cilantro before blending.

Pour into serving dish/container & begin making the chilaquiles.

Fry up tortillas until golden brown & crispy.

Add salsa verde to a skillet to warm up, toss tortilla chips in the salsa right before serving.

Step 3
To serve, I like to place refried beans on the bottom, chilaquiles on top, eggs, crema, queso fresco & enjoy!
